Memebox Corporation was founded in 2012 by Doin Kim and Hyungseok Dino Ha. We are based in San Francisco, CA with offices in Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Memebox is seeking a Director of Growth. We're looking for an experienced senior growth expert to supercharge our efforts to activate and retain new and existing users. The ideal candidate is equal parts growth marketer, analyst, and business strategist who starts from the customer and works back into programs and experiments to address their specific needs.
The person will have expertise in landing page optimization and will be skilled in driving conversion rates up as a means to drive acquisition cost down. The person will be adept at tracking LTV by source of user and adjusting acquisition efforts accordingly, scaling the function in the most profitable way. Additionally,the person has experience optimizing viral campaigns and leveraging network effects.
The ideal candidate has worked in growth roles of progressive responsibility and seniority across a variety of consumer apps in competitive spaces. You’re a team player who excels at developing growth professionals and in working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Product, and Creative. You will report to the CEO.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Develop and scale profitable user acquisition strategies and campaigns across a broad portfolio of paid new user acquisition sources and platforms, including landing page optimization and full funnel conversion Increase our community of influencers Lead, optimize, and manage Facebook, Instagram and SEO acquisition Collaborate with the team on out-of-the-box ideas to fuel growth Manage growth metrics and reporting Ability to source and acquire influencers Activating new channels and ideas that scale
Budget and determine ROI of paid strategies Provide new user acquisition strategy and test campaigns for website initiatives Optimize Viral acquisition and scale with creative campaigns Work with Creative to ensure the Growth function as the output and velocity required to drive outstanding results Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years in Growth positions (paid user acquisition is a must have; SEO and Viral are a big plus) Experience in a B2C environment Outstanding track record of profitable user acquisition strategies and campaigns for mobile consumer apps Outstanding track record of identifying, implementing, and scaling ad tech that drives +ROI Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and teams simultaneously Extremely analytical, organized, and detail-oriented Excellent budgeting and forecasting capabilities Highly driven to achieve and accomplish significant results.
